my favorite part personally about Yuri on Ice is how they decided to have two characters named Yuri for literally NO other reason than to be confusing. And when Yuri #2 points out that this is confusing he gets told “you’re right that IS a problem, your name is Spaghettio now” and everyone just straight-faced rolls with this for the rest of the series. Including Spaghettio.

i also like how katsuki means winner and viktor means winner and nikiforov means winner so the two main characters who fall in love are named winner and winner^2
